Meet Ron Evans,

Ron Evans is an Atlanta-based artist and filmmaker whose work is rooted in authentic human experiences, resilience, and hope. A graduate of Georgia State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, he is dedicated to creating art that spark meaningful conversations while amplifying underrepresented stories. 🎬

His biggest accomplishment came by taking a leap of faith and moving from Indianapolis to Atlanta, knowing no one and carrying everything he owned in his car. He went on to become the first in his immediate family to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University, breaking a generational curse in the middle of the 2020 pandemic. 🎓

His breakthrough came with his award-winning short film "The Sorrow", which was accepted into five film festivals across the Southeastern United States and received Best Romantic Drama Film at the Atlanta Short Film Festival. Evans is currently in production on its sequel, "The Sorrow: Elated", continuing his exploration of love, healing, and the resilience of the human spirit. 🍃
